Hi everyone -
My name is Brian. I'm currently a malware removal specialist (graduated from GeekU at Geeks To Go). Many times during malware removal I find that users also have servicing corruption which I try to assist with. I've been able to resolve some, partially resolve some and even sometimes not at all. I really want to be able to get an OPs machine malware free and as clean and functional as I can. I've spent countless hours watching the helpers here assist people and have learned as much as I can by watching. I've followed many posts from tom982 and Go The Power and have thought Wow!, I really wish I could do that. I really would love to learn how to do this at a high level and with a good fundamental understanding. My goal is to ultimately be able to help out with threads here as well as use those skills in my malware removal.
Standard corruption and resolutions for it are well documented by Microsoft. But rarely have I seen it so straightforward and there really is no documentation for when you need to take someone's component registry hive offline to fix bit flips, etc. I'm extremely excited to learn how to do this.
Hope to work with many of you soon. Thanks.
