Hi to you all,
Looks like I could get a lot more help here than my pc Technical Helpline. They're more or less telling me that because I can't solve recent sfc /scannow errors, the only way to get rid of the errors is to restore Windows 10 back to factory settings.Unfortunately I have too much software, and no time to do this, so hoping you guys could help me out , so glad to be here.

Welcome to Sysnative. We'll certainly do our best. There are times that the only way to fix it is a repair install or even more rare, a factory reset. We'll see.

Thank you BrianDrab,
A repair install (if I'm right in saying a RI is the one the that keeps all files, folders, software etc.)is not that bad, I've done 3 already since upgrading to windows 10 lol, each taking just a few hours to complete, but a factory reset would probably take me a week to reinstall everything, so would like to avoid factory reset if poss.:smile9:

Hi Clive, i'm Clive.

Now there's something I've never said before :)

I too came to the forum with SFC issues.

Don't worry Brian, I can assure you this isn't a glitch in The Matrix* :D

(*hoping you've seen the film and remember enough of it, for this obscure reference to make sense)

You've already 'fixed' my SFC so to speak, Brian :)

Hence, rg2clive and I are not the same black cat ;)

I just love an excuse to quote the Matrix...

Neo: A black cat went past us, and then another that looked just like it.
Trinity: How much like it? Was it the same cat?
Neo: It might have been. I'm not sure.
Morpheus: Switch! Apoc!

Happy Friday All!
