...and read this forum can solve any problems regarding corrupt system files? Hope someone can orient me there. Thanks!

Thanks again.
If your corrupt files are causing you problems with updating Windows, then please follow these instructions ... Windows Update Forum Posting Instructions

If your corrupt files are causing BSOD problems, then please follow these instructions ... Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions - Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 + Vista
Device in question is a Dell Inspiron 5559 laptop bought in 2015 with Windows 10 Home. Today, Windows Update had no problem running and my system is up to date. No blue screens experienced recently, but the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR has been bugging me a few months back. Maybe I have to bring it to a tech store sooner in addition to replacing the touchscreen...

After following the posted instructions on the first link, there was a CSI Payload Corrupt error which is something to do with the System.Web.dll file. "File in store is also corrupted" for some reason. SFCFix stopped abruptly. It is likely an issue not belonging to either two of the links above. Maybe start a thread at the general Windows 10 support forum?

Welcome to Sysnative!

Please create a thread in the Windows Update forum for now, all the CSI errors are dealt with in that forum.
