Learned about the site today from jcgriff2 looks like a lot of good information. I hope to be of some help to others. I enjoy a challenge which is what drew me into the computer vortex. I spend most of my day to day performing IT on-site & remote for servers/ workstations. Support is my primary job with emphasis on forensics, data recovery, incident / malware response and a whole host of other janitorial duties. Every day is another in paradise.

Welcome aboard, Jim!

What are your plans for Halloween (you state that as an Interest)? I usually stay home and max out my normal Ninja outfit and Level III Second Chance Body Armor with as many martial art weapons as I can along with numerous guns - and I mean way more than only pistols - as well (far more of both than I'd ever really carry as they'd be more of a hindrance than help in reality, but it looks intense and sort of like Blade but even more extreme) - the kids love it & the parents get freaked out. LOL!

What Network OS's are you trained on/familiar with? MS only or Unix too? Any related certs (MCSE, MCITP, CCIE, Server+, Network+)? I stopped keeping up with corporate netwoking after Server 2003 and don't really deal with that anymore (except from the client side and with non-domain ad hoc small business & home setups).

Corrine thanks for the welcome !

Kosh, Certs mostly now days its all forensic Ace, GCFE, PI, I have MS in the past Novell HP too many to list or I can't remember been doing "IT" for 30 years ! OS All Windows, Mac, Linux, IBM AS400, Cell Phones etc

Where I live we have a fall festival each year and I got volunteered 12 years ago to hold a haunted house in my 4 car detached garage we just happen to have behind the house well game on bug bit me hard been doing it every year since in the neighborhood haunted trails etc. This year we did a zombie maze in the pool area it was last Sat. We have approx 250 come through for about 3 hours we scare the heck out of them its popular and free for the homeowners and guests. Now I decorate the yard as a cemetary creepy fencing the kids love it since NOBODY else hardly decorates at ALL for halloween. It brought back memories as a kid growing up and I can remember maybe 2 or 3 homes similar each year it was a blast. Giving back is a lot of fun for me ! I visit a few local haunted houses each season just to see what others are up to. Nether World in Atlanta Ga just rocks ! go if you ever can get there.

Welcome Jim!

I have boring plans for Halloween...

Eat candy and do homework... :lolg:

I did get a chance to carve pumpkins yesterday!

We don't get very many tricker treaters sadly, maybe 200?

Laxer you get way more than I do. I live at a dead end so we don't get that many but the ones that dare to come enjoy a scare or two along the way. Candy is my downfall chocoholic ! Thanks for the welcome

John, Thanks again for showing me the way here my friend.
