Good to know there are no current pending sectors anymore, but current pending sectors is only a part of the equation.

Please go to Functions > Advanced Functions > Raw values and select 10 [DEC]. This makes the raw values human readable. Check the values of the attributes suffixed with 'sector count', they should be as low as possible (preferably zero).

They're all zero. Is it normal for a hard drive to report some SMART errors then after some weeks or months, it reports that those errors are gone? Isn't that some kind of software failure?

This is the interpretation of the SMART of your hard drive, the software interpreting it has been thoroughly tested over the years. If there's something wrong it's more likely to be with the drive than with the software interpreting the SMART.

Assuming that, according to this SMART result, the hard drive is in decent condition, it should now be safely possible to fix any corruption SFC reports if not already done.

I actually already deleted all Windows 8.1 files so I can't boot from this drive anymore. But I noticed that since I did that, the drive's health started improving slowly until it achieved 100% again.

This is a guess, but that might be because the sectors Windows 8.1 used aren't being included anymore as they're not used. I could be wrong here though.

It's possible the pending sectors weren't physically bad and could still be used. I suspect that if the sectors were physically bad then chkdsk would've reported reallocation of data.
