Hey all, after a much long hiatus, I'm finally getting back into the game.

I finally got my hands on a decent desktop with dual 23" 1080p monitors (God, I feel so behind with everyone using larger screens and 4k).

I also got myself a pretty sweet laptop that lets me play some games (Space Engineers and The Sims 3) to name a few. I thinking about buying the Portal series on Steam for PC since I sold my consoles.

For you Corrine, I have been still constantly remodeling my office as per usual but I've slowly made my office placement more permanent. Just kinda makes me worry a bit because of all the holes in the wall, patching is gonna be a pain in the...

Moving on... So, why the long disappearance? Simply put, a medical condition that changed my life enough that I needed to regroup my thoughts. Those of you who are curious may PM me and we can talk about it, otherwise, I am slightly more protective over myself due to recent events this year.

Anyways, 'nuff doom and gloom, I'm quite happy to be back and see all the same friends still active here.
See you all around! Cheers!

How nice to see you back with us! :rose:

Not everyone uses or has the need for larger screens. Although I have an HP Touchsmart that I won a number of years ago, my go-to machine is my laptop. It does just what I need it to do. As to your office remodel being "more permanent", that is hard to believe.

I knew that you'd be pretty happy to see me back again. I'm actually being pretty serious this time. I've put a lot of holes in the wall which prevents me from moving stuff around too much anymore. And that's ok with me, especially since I might not be living here much longer (long story, again pm for details). So yeah. But I'm still gonna try and build my dream rig and everything else. I guess as the old saying goes we'll just have to wait and see.

After going through some of the threads I've posted in before I left I can really say that I lot has really changed and I feel like a lot of time has passed. So, as I get back into the game here, I should be starting to relive the good old days.

What do ya think Corrine? Ready to bring that massive remodel thread back to life?

Nope! You've already said that your life has changed (makes no difference whether medical, personal or none of anyone's business ;) ). So, no going back. Go forward, young man, start fresh. No digging up old threads (or old wounds for that matter). Move forward and start a new thread.

Very well, a new thread it is. But first I have to do a lot of cleaning. So that'll motivate me to get some stuff posted. Anyways, this guy here needs to eat. Then it'll be all hands on deck to get this second floor back up to par. Oh and p.s. I changed my hair style and have new glasses as well.
