Shutterfly advertises that unlimited photo storage is free. Photobucket supports the following file types: Supported File Types for Photos and Videos : Photobucket Support but free storage is limited to 2GB. Free Microsoft SkyDrive is limited to 7 GB: SkyDrive - Microsoft Windows I don't know the limits for ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting other than each image must not be larger than 1MB in size. Imagebam is limited to JPG, GIF and PNG images and each file must be 4MB or smaller. Bottom line, with 30+ GB of pictures and home movies, you could split the files among various free sites but you never know when any of those services will be discontinued. Particularly, if the photos and moves are not replaceable, I would recommend backing up to CD/DVDs or, probably a more practical solution as well as easier to use, a portable drive such as a Seagate Portable Drive.

Flickr - recently redesigned, now offers 1TB, yes 1 Terabyte of free storage. I think this would be the best option - Welcome to Flickr - Photo Sharing. However, photos only. ADrive - a newcomer, but offers 50GB of free storage, upgradable if you pay. ADrive | Online Storage, Online Backup, Cloud Storage | Personal Other than that, I think Corrine listed the other options. Stephen Edit - some more research on Flickr shows it now supports video. Also, it would be a very good idea to read this is you use Flickr - Flickr: Help: Public/Private Last edited: Aug 2, 2013
