I have tried installing KB5059092 on a Windows Server 2022 and it keeps failing. Also, the monthly cumulative update from April (KB5055526) fails also. It displays this error - Error code: (0x8007000d).
I ran the SFC tool and it did not find any violations:

C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

Secondly, I ran the DISM tool and it indicated that the restore operation completed successfully.
C:\Windows\system32>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.20348.2849

Image Version: 10.0.20348.3328

I'll attach the Component Scanner and the CBS logs to this thread.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

It seems this is the same server as in this thread? Unable to install KB5059092 on Server 2022.

Hi,

Okay, I've merged both threads and here's the first fix.

Download

  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Afterwards attempt to update. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS logs.

Attached are the results of the SFCFix Tool. I will attempt to install the most recent updates next and revert back with the results.
