Hello everyone,

we have a Windows Server 2019 which has been causing problems with updates for several months.
However, I was able to install the last update KB5037932 after several attempts.
However, I was unable to install the updates KB5039705 and the current KB5039217.We get the same error code every time: 0x800f0922

The commands: sfc /scannowDism /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth
Unfortunately, it didn't lead to success in the end.

P.S - Yes, there is another thread from me because I also have the same problem on a Windows Server 2016

Thank you for your help.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Which Security Software is installed on this server?

Hi

Windows Defender and Sentinel One

thank you very much for the answer, I'm on vacation for another 2 weeks. I'll get in touch again afterwards.

Hi,

For this server, please run the following command in an elevated prompt and attach services.txt to your next post.
Code:
WMIC SERVICE GET caption, name, startmode, state > "%userprofile%\desktop\services.txt"

Please do the following to enable the following service in an elevated prompt and post the result.
Code:
sc config NetSetupSvc start= demand
sc start NetSetupSvc
sc query NetSetupSvc

Please run the following command and post the result:
Code:
sc qc NetSetupSvc

Great, please attempt to update again and post the result. If it fails attach a new copyt of the CBS logs.

You're welcome, the issue was an disabled service in this case.

I will mark this thread as solved... (y)
