[SOLVED] [Error 80070490] Windows 7 Service Pack 1 fails

Hello. I have been having trouble installing SP1 pretty much since SP1 came out. All other updates will install. I am getting Error 80070490 and tried the System Update Readiness Tool from Microsoft. That ran and installed an update or two, but I am still unable to install SP1.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Is that the log that is needed for that tool?

CBS is attached. It would only let me upload 5mb files so I had to break it apart. Remove the .zip at the end of the numbered files. Let me know if you are able to get it. Thanks again.

We hear this all the time :lol: We're still quite a small forum but get a very large amount of traffic for our specialist areas: Windows Update and BSODs.
