Solved! Thanks for your help!

After applying the fix SFC runs again and did found some problems which was fixed. All pending updates finished then.

But then I was stucked in Windows update again with message:
"Your version of Windows has reached an end of service" and after clicking "Check for updates" nothing happen.
But there is an option to fix problems in Windows 11 using Settings > System > Recovery > Fix using windows update > Reinstall now. Which downloaded and reinstalled current version (22H2 in my case) and cured the problem.

Then I did in-place upgrade of windows manually to version 24H2 successfully. All ok now.

Thanks again.

Michal

Hi,

You're welcome. Glad to hear you was able to upgrade successfully to 24H2 after the last fix using the in-place-upgrade method. (y)

I would also suggest to make a full system image of this state and avoid to install preview updates, this because I've seen some strange issues with 24H2 and the preview updates.
