I have had three customers call me in the last three days and tell me that their Edge does not open at all. I went to my Win 11 laptop and talked on how to do a repair and was following along with my computer and now mine does not open. I went to my Win 10 desktop and tried the same thing and now that one does not open up Edge.
Now what I also tried on my Win 11 laptop was to restore back a few days. Edge then worked. I closed it once and it did not open again. I did a restore back another day and got Edge to work on this computer. I kept it open and downloaded Chrome just so I would have an backup browser. I then closed Edge and went to open it and if failed again. I tried opening it up as Admin, tried several repairs on both computer and have not got Edge back on both of my computers. Read a Microsoft troubleshooting link and none of that worked. I also read other tech websites and nothing worked.
Note that all my computers are fast with SSDs, 8 GB of memory or more, I-5 processors dual-core and quad-core. I have plenty of horsepower to run Windows.
