Does anyone have any idea why I'd be banned from SevenForums (and others)?

A few days ago, I joined SevenForums because I love Windows 7 and I thought it would be a cool place to exchange some knowledge about it. When I first tried making an account there, I got a verification email but then the site made me log back in and it said it didn't recognize my email, so I submitted a support request thing about it, but then I decided to try to make another account under the same name and it worked, so I assume it was a glitch or something. Anyway, all I did was put in my computer specs and some other profile information and then I went about my day. I never posted one thing on there, much less read anything on the site. When I woke up, I had this ban notice stating "breach of forum rules" and it would be lifted "never." Obviously, I was confused, so I decided to use the site support thing to ask them about it. It's only been like a day so I don't mind that there's no response yet, but I wonder why I was banned within HOURS of making my account on there. I did look at the forum rules and I don't think I broke any of them. Additonally, I tried making an ElevenForums account yesterday just to find it banned today and the ban note was "already banned," so I assume I'm probably banned from every forum made by this person(s).

(BTW, my profile details and about me were about the same on SevenForums as they are on my profile here, and I had the same username there that I have on here, and SevenForums was the first place I used this username and my email. Upon research I also think it's worth saying I only made my Sysnative account after I was banned from SF, so that's not related.)

I'm just really curious as to why I was banned when I had no history of anything as the first thing I signed up for under this username and email was SevenForums.

It could be they don't like the "femboy" part in your nickname.
Damn, I thought about that. I'm sure it has to be something about my profile or what was on it because there's literally nothing else I did on the site except sign up and fill out profile info. They could've just said that in the ban note though considering the SevenForums rules don't state anything relating to femboys. Oh well.

Also "ur mom's house". You might or might not have heard of a "game" in ghetto areas by the name of Dozens.
I actually didn't have "ur mom's house" in my profile on SF, but I'm sure that could've been a reason if I had💀 On that note, I think it's worth mentioning that I had like "being gay" and/or "scamming" or something in my "Interests" section on SF, I don't remember exactly (and now I never will ig)

The owner of SF and that network of sites is notoriously ban heavy - a lot of bans there have been inconsistent, or never explained.

Based on what you've provided, and your profile here, it's probably a mixture of the username + what you mentioned in the interests section, and anything else on your profile along similar lines. Especially having those things together could be mistaken for someone trolling.

Sysnative for instance is "PG13", or "family friendly". For a user who'd just signed up we'd probably remove the "ur mom's house" from the location, as although it's mild it's generally a less family friendly joke, and the username would raise a flag for us to try and work out the context of it. "Family friendly" here generally means very safe - aka no one would be upset if you said it in front of either their grandmother or their niece.

From a moderator perspective - we have a lot of users sign-up here, and a small portion are either spammers / trolls etc, so certain things will flag an account and get it more likely to be banned.

This could also be the reason - or it may have detected multiple accounts / attempts are registering.

You might get a response, and they may explain or lift the ban, but I wouldn't get your hopes up - there's also a good chance they'll never reply.

As said before, bans can be very arbitrary on those sites, but there are plenty of other tech sites around in the same niche that you can post on. (although bear in mind the points about your username/profile that a few of us have mentioned, to reduce the risk of any ban).

True, upon research I've seen many people have been banned from SF with little to no explanation, and I do see how my profile info may come off as trolling. Additionally, I can see how my username may cause issues or concern from moderators. Thanks for welcoming me on here anyway, I feel a lot less anxious on here than I would've on SF with their being ban heavy and all.

Yeah, even though I do see why my username and things on my profile may raise concerns of me being a troll, that would just be a suspicion, there was no proof of me actually being a troll nor did I actually break any of the rules, although the ban note said "breach of forum rules." I do hope they reply to me just to at least explain, not for me but just for others, as I'd imagine being so vague upon banning users would cause issues with people.

Welcome to Sysnative. (y)

Not that it's right, but mods on some forums can be extremely busy, so may not pay as much attention to doing things "right", and ban without performing "due diligence".

Hopefully the one who banned you will get back to you and explain their reasons, but I wouldn't hold your breath whilst waiting for a reply if I were you.

Yeah, I certainly will not be holding my breath. 💀 But thanks for the welcome! 😁
