(Realized that I initially posted this question in the wrong section)

I'm trying to repair my niece's hard drive. Keyboard and mouse functions are no longer working when Windows boots (Even safe mode), and this is the case whether it's USB or PS/2. Initially when I tried PS/2 it worked, but when I powered off the PC and powered it back on it also stopped working. I've tried so many solutions. I connected the SSD to my main PC as an external drive, and I'm trying to resolve this from my functioning image of Windows. I'm trying to run DISM to fix it but I receive the following error:

"Error: 0x800f0801 DISM failed. No operation was performed."

This is what I'm entering in CMD (With admin rights):

"Dism /Image:I:\ /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:C:\Sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess"

(Sidenote: I extracted the install.esd file from a Windows ISO that I got from Microsoft, and converted it to .wim)

Also, when I try running SFC /scannow I receive this error:

"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log"

What can I do to resolve these?

(CBS files: The "i" drive is the bad drive, and the "c" drive is my functioning drive's log files. Since I performed DISM/SFC via the C drive's image of Windows I wasn't sure if it logged the info in it.)
