[SOLVED] Dell Optiplex 3010 Windows 7 installs an correct video driver

I did a new installation of Windows 7 Prof. 64bit. During system updates another video driver was installed. Since then I have a weird graphics resolution. A suitable resolution is no longer offered. I tried installing the video driver and the chipset driver from the Dell homepage. But get this error message:

I think so. I bought it used but the license key was on the case.

Never use Windows Update for driver updates. Always manufacturer's website.

I try to install the driver from the Dell-Site. But as I told I got the error message.

Is this the only GPU in the machine?

it's the onboard-graphics. I have no external Graphic-card installed.

the management software of the graphics driver offers the opportunity to create a user defined resolution - this works. Actually I would feel better with an correct working graphic driver. But in the moment I can work with the current situation. Maybe later I will try the driver from the Intel-Site.
