@XBlueRobot, I think all the issues we see are secondary. I think I have a hardware issue with my MOBO that's resetting my PC and making it crash randomly. So when things freeze / reset abruptly I see some error logs, some corrupted files, etc. That's just my impression as a newbie. Feel free to steer me off this direction if I've made a mistake or anything. After all I'm throwing everything... even the kitchen sink at this issue.

UPDATE - 2021.3.4 @ 9:22AM
---------------------------------------------
I made a partition, ran linux (Pop!OS) for a couple of hours and my system crashed. I'm starting to think this is hardware. I think I can safely rule out GPU, CPU, RAM, bad SATA cables, and PSU. That leaves me with a hardware issue with my motherboard. I'm looking online how to check for hardware issues before I completely disassemble my machine to physically inspect it. People keep mentioning that I should check for 'faulting' / 'short circuit', so I'll google that as well to see if I can solve this issue. My last resort will be to buy a new MOBO/CPU combo or just leave with a shit system until it blows up.
If you guys have some guides / links ... just anything to help me troubleshoot hardware issues with the MOBO I will greatly appreciate it.
