Hello. I recently encountered this issue when I was attempting to open Device Manager.

Oh and I am not sure if this makes any significance but I got a "mmc.exe - bad image" pop-up when I was attempting to open device manager.

Please download SeaTools for Windows from here: SeaTools for Windows | Seagate

Run a SMART test (if available), a short DST (self test), short generic, and long DST.

Stop and let me know if any of them fail.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
How long would it usually take for Seatools to scan for supported drives? I've tried opening it multiple times but it seemed to stuck on that for more than an hour.
