Hi kind folks,

I have a similar issue a previous user had where I am not able to boot my windows 11 laptop.

File:\windows\system32\config\system
Status: 0xc000014c
Info: Windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing, or corrup
t.

I was able to create a bootable usb using the win11 MediaCreationTool. I tried running sfc /scannow /offbootdir=d:\ /offwindir=d:\windows and dism /image:d:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth /source:f:\esd\sources\install.esd without any luck.

Please see uploaded SYSTEM file.

Thank you so much in advance!

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

If you haven't already, please review the posting instructions here, and attach the requested log files. Without log files, our helpers will not be able to assist, and this will slow down fixing your machine.

If logs have been already been provided, our team of volunteers will analyse the provided log files to build a fix for your system. Please be aware that this may take several days from your initial post, due to the high volume of threads that we receive.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Attached a repaired copy of the SYSTEM hive:
1. Rename the current hive from the recovery environment to SYSTEM.bad
2. Unzip the attached file and copy the SYSTEM hive to X:\Windows\System32\Config.
