I am a Security Analyst and a Windows Update Trainee, and I will be assisting you regarding your computer's issues. Since I'm still in training, my fixes have to be approved by a qualified Update Expert, so there may be a slight delay in my replies. Look at it as a good thing though, since you will have two people looking at your problem. ============== Give me some time to review your logs. I'll return to you as soon as I am ready.

The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread only. No one else should follow these instructions, as it could damage your system. Download the attached SFCFix.zip and save it on your Desktop. Save any work you have open, and close all programs. Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it. SFCFix will launch, let it complete. Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt. Attach that file to your next reply. 2. DISM/CBS Run DISM command and attach the screenshot of the result. If it fails, attach a new CBS folder. Attachments SFCFix.zip 70.4 KB · Views: 10

Run SFC Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator Enter the command below and press on Enter Code: sfc /scannow Let the scan finish. You will normally get one of the following results: Code: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation Please post the result you got (a screenshot). I'll need to check a new CBS log if SFC fails.
