Hello everyone,

Attached are the zip files for Procmon and the BSOD Dump and System File Collection.

The Operating Sysytem is Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Service Pack One.
This is the original Operating system.
The Operating System is an OEM Version.
The computer is two months old.
I have not reinstalled the Operating System.
The CPU is an AMD A10-7700K Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G
There is no video card. The graphics are onboard AMD Radeon(TM) R7 Graphics
The motherboard is an ASRock FM2A78 Pro3+.
I don't know the brand of the power supply. It's size is 600 watts.
It is a customized desktop computer made by Ironside Computers in Wisconsin.

I tried to run Driver Verifier. My computer screen was filled with small colored lines. Is that normal for Driver Verifier ? I saw something like that once when
I woke up from too much blackberry brandy. I ran system restore to correct any problems that may have occurred.

I would prefer not to do the memtest86. I don't want to get into the "guts" of the system and create a big mess.

I will try the HDD diagnostics.

I also ran sfc \ scannow . The message at the end of its run was that it had found bad files(?) but was unable to fix them. So I attached it as well.

Thanks

Hi Oldraider67 & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

Could you please elaborate on exactly what issues are you experiencing? The title of the thread is sadly not very clear :/

Hi blueelvis,

I had problems previously with Microsoft Updates on another computer and another OS. I was being helped by niemiro but the computer got so bad
I decided to buy a new one with a new operating system.

Because niemiro was so helpful , I quickly decide to go back to the Sysnative Forums.

I had initially posted this new problem in the Web Browsers forum but was directed here.

Basically what happens is I'll be looking at something on the internet when I get a pop up saying Internet Explorer needs to close. If it only
happened once or twice I wouldn't worry. But this happens everyday and several times a day. The event viewer records this action with the event number
of 1000. The faulting module path is C;]Windows\System32\atidxx32.dll.

Its annoying but gives me concern because the computer is new. I tried several fixes I found on the internet but no joy.

I hope that helps a little.

Hi oldraider67 ^_^,

Thanks for the explanation. Now I get what you are experiencing. The Internet Explorer is crashing for some reason. Let's look at the event viewer event -
Code:
Event[46]:
  Log Name: Application
  Source: Application Error
  Date: 2015-06-08T13:58:14.000
  Event ID: 1000

Faulting module name: atidxx32.dll, version: 8.17.10.581, time stamp: 0x546e9f8e

Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\atidxx32.dll

The faulting module is part of the ATI Graphics Driver Package. Let's first uninstall everything related to ATI Graphics from your system. Kindly download the Display Driver Uninstaller from the below link and use it to remove your ATI Graphics Driver -

Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 15.3.0.0

After this, your screen might look a little awkward in terms of resolution and aspect ratio but that's fine. Now, you my friend, open up the Add/Remove Programs and uninstall anything related to ATI. Go to the above path of the "atidxx32.dll" and if it is found, rename it to "bak-atidxx32.dll". Now, try browsing for some time with IE and see if you are still experiencing the crashes.

Once this is done, check your Windows Update (Check for Updates). There should be an update for your Graphics Card or the ATI Driver. Install that. If there is no such update visible, go to the below link and download and install the ATI Driver Package -

Let me know how it goes ^_^

If an updated driver doesn't help, disable graphics acceleration in the advanced settings (Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering"), and then restart your PC.

Hi blueelvis,

I haven't gotten back to you because of the well known go to the doctor scenario. You don't feel well for one reason or another. You get a doctors appointment within two days.
You're still not feeling well but by the time you get to the doctor you feel better or any associated symptoms have gone away completely.

The day I got your response I hadn't had the problem. I decided to wait and purposely try to cause the problem. That way I could provide additional details of the circumstances of the problem.
As of today I have not had one instance of Internet Explorer closing down.

I will save your email and guidance. I suspect the reverse of the above doctor scenario will occur and IE will start acting up.

Sorry to be so long winded. I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your help.

Hi cluberti,

Before I contacted the forums I did a little Internet detective work and had found a thread suggesting your fix. I have left the graphics acceleration disabled. As I noted to blueelvis the problem
seems to have disappeared. I've even tried to create the problem but I can't.

However, thank you for taking the time to review my problem and offer a suggested fix.
