The famous wireless hotspot software Connectify has just been updated to v3.5 and it now fully supports Microsoft’s latest Windows 8 operating system as well. The newest version of the program also fixes the annoying “Hosted network unavailable” error.

For those of you who haven’t heard of Connectify before, it’s a free software (Pro version is also available) to turn your Windows 7 and Windows 8 laptops into virtual Wi-Fi hotspots with a few clicks without the help of additional hardware. For instance, if you have multiple Wi-Fi supported devices at home, you can install this software on your laptop so that you can share the Internet connection with your other devices.
