Would anybody be able to help me please? I understand from reading threads on here that it's down to a corrupt registry? This is the cbs log (I think?) which is usually what is asked for :) CBS.zip - Google Drive Thank you in advance, Chris

Would the problem you've just solved be related to that or is that another issues?

S Sysnative Windows Update Inactive Joined Oct 9, 2014 Posts 773 Feb 5, 2019 #12 Okay :) We need to run a few checks first to see where is the problem: SFC Scan Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each sfc /scannow Wait for this to finish before you continue copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt" This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link. 2. Accept the License Agreement 3. Download the ISO file to your desktop. 4. Double-click on the ISO and then run the setup to try and upgrade your machine. We want to get the ISO so that you don't have to keep downloading which can take hours.
