Composer in need of help: yet another latency issue

Hi, I am brand new to this forum, so I will apologize in advance if I missed a posting rule or cause anyone repeat something that's been covered. I tried going through the previous DPC latency posts to no avail. I compose/produce music and recently upgraded systems. Problem is I get intolerable drop outs. They aren't often (every 5min or so maybe?), but when they happen in the middle of my playing music I want to break everything in sight. I can play a loaded project pretty well at 128 sample size, but then I'll be playing piano on a completely empty template and get an intermittent cutout. I really can't write with this :(

I've run LatencyMon, and everything is in the green with the exception of page faults once in a while, usually from Digital Performer (my music program) or latencymon itself. I've looked up a few tutorials on everything that can be turned off in Win10 and did it. I have the most recent drivers for everything and have avoided installing superfluous utilities like NVIDIA GForce Experience and Ethernet Killer, etc. I disabled the system sounds, GPU HD audio driver, and the onboard Realtek driver. Windows 10 effects have been reduced to stupid levels.

I followed these instructions here: " https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...dpc-latency-issues-ndis-sys-nvlddmkm-sys.html " to export xperf trace, which is a totally new concept to me. So hopefully what I upload isn't complete crap. Here it is: Dropbox - Trace capture CPU.zip

It feels a bit like I'm asking someone to save the world. I'm sorry for even asking, but please oh please help me. Maybe I'm not special, and I'll get lumped in with the other hopeless DPC/interrupts cases :(

Be sure that BIOS is updated.

If you have an Internet Security Suite (anything with a 3rd party firewall - like Norton, KIS, McAfee, etc...) - remove it using the appropriate removal tool -

Uninstallers (removal tools) for common Windows antivirus software—ESET Knowledgebase

Update audio drivers

Update video drivers

If you have an SSD, be sure that the firmware is upgraded.

If over-clocked, return to factory default settings.

Hi all

PB - are things better?

If not, let us know. I've downloaded your trace & will have a look if things didn't get better yet.
Cheers.
