Compose E-Mail Issue

I use Cox e-mail which is running under Chrome on a Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Suddenly, when I try to forward an e-mail It automatically adds an attachment. This is connected to all my pictures.

How do I remove this automatic attachment activity?

I moved the pictures to the D: drive. I then went to compose and it showed the higher level folder which did not have the pictures in it.
The attachment option tried to link to the sub folder.
I will run Malwarebytes after dinner to see if something has to be cleaned up.

Are you using a client like Outlook or sending directly from the web? If a client run in Safe Mode (no add-ins) and if no problem by a process of elimination, find the culprit.

To my knowledge the sequence is as I stated in the issue. I ran Malwarbytes with no problems. I am now running Microsoft Security Essentials but have little doubt that there is no issue there that would cause this. It has to be in the Cox E-Mail application.

I decided to move the pictures and put in a dummy .bmp. I have not tried to get to Cox. There is no phone number in the
site you suggested. Oliver is dead on the site. I went to suggestions on the Managing Messages Site. It talks about creating
a Compose template. No help. This is crazy as it only started a day of 2 ago. No issues over many years.
Why Attachment would have a Folder, especially that one, is very confusing.
Thanks for any and all help

If your SMTP Port is 587 switch to 465. It would be helpful to see what was requested in Post #2 along with your Email opening Window. Very nice of Cox to throttle Oliver.
