[SOLVED] - Need help for Component Hive Basically running sfc /scannow leads to: C:\Windows\System32>sfc /scannow Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation. Running any DISM command leads to: C:\Windows\System32>dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.22621.1 Image Version: 10.0.22621.2428 [== 4.9% ] Error: 1009 The configuration registry database is corrupt. Tried an in place upgrade which failed, the setuperr and setupact log files are linked here(Password is 8007001F) workupload - Are you a human? I suspect all of these issues might be fixed by replacing the component hive as mentioned in the threads above, I just am wary of doing this without a professional to give me the correct replacement.
