Hi there.

I have attempted a fix using your instructions at the link below but it does not seem to work for me. hoping to get some well on this. Allow me to explain my situation.
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...prncacla-inf-corruptions-windows-8-8-1-a.html

I was using Google Drive on my computer last night when my internet connection was suddenly not available. I checked on my computer and it seemed to indicate that I am still connected to my WiFi and my WiFi had internet connection. I tested by using other computers to browse the internet and had no problems.

I attempted to shut down the system and it gave me some ".Net process/service is still running...." message, and gave me the option to either terminate it or allow it to run with restriction. I chose to terminate it. After I rebooted, I was still unable to get connected to the web.

With a help of a friend, we did some basic troubleshooting and found the following:
1. I am able to ping any website from cmd
2. I am unable to go to the similar websites I pinged using either IE or Firefox.

My friend then found the thread above and requested me to try the fix you had recommended.

Here is my error path:
systemroot\winsxs\amd64_prncacla.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.2.9200.16430_none_fdce12188b615b12\Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB

Based on that I had downloaded your first dropbox link and carried out all instructions precisely.

What I got was a cmd window that opened which had your intro and the next line stated, "Checking for updates..."

It just displayed the same message for about half an hour without generating any txt file.

Help badly needed as I can't get on the internet and I have some important work to do :(

Thanks.
Eric

Hi Admins. My issue is resolved. After restarting a few times, the internet reset itself and I was able to carry out Repair 1 as recommended by your link so the issue is closed. Thanks again for a wonderful forum.

Glad to hear you got it solved, thanks for letting us know and for the kind words!

Regards,

Patrick
