hi. My laptop couldn't stay on more than 5mns,n' i had catastrophic failure 0x8000ffff message when i tried to restore an earlier image. (i'm using windows 7 ultimate) i tried tu run a sfc/scannow, but at 20% complete, it stopped. so i ran a chkdsk/f c: n' there were some files unreadable, but it finished it. after that i ran another sfc/scannow, n' that's when i got the message: windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. so i followed instructions above, n' here is the cbp zip file. I hope u will be able to help me plse?
