I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit.
I had been remiss and not checked Windows Update for several weeks. When I did there were a number of updates that needed to be installed.
Some installs worked but some, the security updates, would not install. I downloaded them (all were from February) individually from the Windows Download Center and was
able to install them. However, KB3004394 won't install either by the usual "download and install" through the internet or by downloading it to my desktop and
and attempting to install it.
I tried several Microsoft fixes and ran the KB927841 x 64 that creates SUR logs. The logs did show missing package (?) files for two other
updates KB3008923 and KB3013126 (I think).
I'm not sure of your protocols so I didn't post the logs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
