Hi,

I've recently clean installed Windows 7 x64 SP1(retail) on my 7 year assembled desktop. Newer entrant in the hardware is a
Transcend single channel 8GB DDR3 RAM module. Earlier installation was Windows 7 Home x64 version. The newer setup has only bare minimum apps like browsers, Kaspersky IS trial, MS Office, a couple of trading apps(sparingly used). After enabling hibernation last month, it was all hunky dory for a couple of weeks.

The 1st BSOD happened while watching a video and the later ones started appearing sometimes while waking up from hibernation. It is again random when hibernation is switched off.

AMD Phenom II X2 550 proc
MSI 890GXM-G65 mobo
Onboard/shared ATI Radeon HD 4290 (640MB)
Intex PSU 450W (a budget brand in India mid 2016 model)

Hi Vishw4ever,

Your current Windows appears to be illegally activated, a key is in use that is meant for systems using Acer motherboards only.

I suggest to perform a clean install back to Windows 7 Home using a genuine key, no support will be provided until you have a genuinely activated Windows.
