[SOLVED] BSOD when restarting, can't enter safe mode

Hello,

after I ran the driver verifier my PC won't start any more. I keep getting a BSOD right when starting and I can't find a way to enter safe mode to restore the system to the restore point I created. I have tried slamming F8 and Shift+F8 several time but it doesn't work.

Please help!!

Ok solved. Had to dig out an installation USB stick and from there I was able to restore. Pretty annoying though that there is no way to boot in safe mode...

Probably the #1 reason I am avoiding an upgrade to Windows 8.
