Hi, when I add a 4gb ram in the second slot of the motherboard, windows starts and multiple blue screens come out. I don't know if it's ram or motherboard failure or windows failure.
Motherboard msi z270-a pro.
Attached the SysnativeFileCollectionApp report.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Best regards.

Hello Solitario,

It's not possible to simply add another stick of RAM and expect it to work. The two modules have to work together and unless they are well matched it will trigger BSODs. I suspect that is the problem in your case. You need to have two identical or matched pairs of RAM to get the best chance of system stability. It is also important to follow the motherboard manual and use the recommended memory and slots for 2 RAM modules.

with my previous motherboard the 4 ram modules worked, it was an asus b250f but it seems that this msi board is different because I have seen many users on the net with the same problem of the ram memory.

Different motherboards will have different recommendations, have you checked the manual to see what the configuration should be?
