-----------------------------------------------------

BSOD happens frequently. Even when I had Windows 7 BSOD occured. I thought it was due to OS problem, then I formatted my sdd and installed fresh copy of Windows 10. But BSOD is still happening. One thing I should point out is that my Ethernet is having problem. I cant connect to internet using LAN. Ethernet detects my connection and then it gets disconnected. The process goes on and on like every 1 sec. So I disabled my LAN connection and using WIFI now. For the BSOD, yesterday it happened 2 times in a row right after opening Google Chrome.

Things I did:
Ran MEMTEST86 till pass 7 and no errors were found.
Overall temperature of every device is optimal.
Ran Prime95 and everything was fine CPU wise.

I have bought second hand CPU and Motherboard from a friend and every other parts are new. After assembling the desktop my PSU had problem. My PC would shut down and ASUS Anti Surge message from BIOS was shown. So I replaced my PSU and everything was working normal. And then I replaced my RAM. So I am suspecting my RAM because I recall that BSOD started happening after purchasing Corsair 8gb stick and installing it. but MEMTEST86 revealed no error.

Please help me.

First off we have to wonder about the Ethernet problem - and if it's part of a hardware issue with your motherboard.

What are "optimal" temps?

The blend test of Prime95 is primarily a RAM test. It does test the CPU cache and the memory controller (in the CPU on the i7's) a little bit - but the other tests are more suited for that.
Run the Small FFT test and the Large FFT test for a while to see if anything happens - it will stress the CPU cache and memory controller more.
But, to better test the CPU, try the Intel Processor Diagnostic tool: Hardware Diagnostics

As long as you're there, run the rest of the tests also.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version 1101) dates from 2014. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system. If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it. WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

Unfortunately it appears that the OS installed isn't legitimate.
Please get a legitimate copy of the OS installed and we'll be glad to help.

Dear usasma,

Thank you for your reply.

For the ethernet, I have done some research and found one solution. It was to change the Speed and Duplex value from the configuration. Changed it to 10mbps /half duplex and problem was solved. But I do understand it is not fixing the hardware problem if there is.

By optimal temps I meant normal, average temps.

Just ran IPDT and it passed the test. I have attached the test result. I will run other test and will post the results here soon.

Checked the BIOS version from ASUS website and the latest was 2014 version 1101.

As for the OS, my current installed OS is trial version. It is asking for Activation Key and I cant purchase one because I do not have international credit card right now. I will get one soon and will purchase legit key. I live in Mongolia so I cant use my local bank card to make an international transaction. Hope you will understand.

Thank you for your help, and I hope we can fix my problem soon

Sorry, but your story just doesn't make sense with the situation that I see.
Feel free to post back once you've gotten a legal copy of Windows.
