BSOD, Memtestpass, replaced SSD, drivers up to date yadda still screens out plz help!

Turn verifier back on, deselect all Microsoft drivers.

Have you check with the Acad developer to see if they have run across this?

Ok I will run it again, I have talked to our Auto desk rep... I ran a GPU mem test... it passed. He recommended I swap out the NIC card.. im like....really... but I uninstalled completely and reinstalled that as well.

Yea I just looked at the forecast for Monday by me,,, 90% chance of 4-8in.....I do not like those odds. The winter hasn't been too crazy as I'm close enough to the shore. Good luck to you sir.

So the verifiers been running for 24hrs + and still no BSOD.... Is there a way to view the log? Does this mean it has to be a cad acad.exe issue?

There is no log so to speak, the .dmp file is as close as you'll get to a log if a BSOD should occur.

Have/can you run the cad program?

Yes, tried opening/closing saving drawings, while running a symantec scan (put SEP back on) while running a graphics stress. Didnt bluescreen.....The cad s/w was a fresh install on the SSD..Im going to try and get back on the phone with the Microdesk guy.

It's strange because I haven't seen acads pop up anywhere else, usually if it's a program or program update we see at least a couple cases.

Just to give an update: I ran out of ideas, said F*k it and installed the Ram from a different machine into this one gave it back to the user.. So far 4 days under normal workload and no BSODs......It would BSOD within the hour of working in CAD with the old Ram when i gave it back to the user.. So...i think it was the memory..... I swapped the "Bad" memory into a machine that i will be using as a CAD Floater. So I am going to see if it starts Blue screening.

It just weird memtest 86+ came up blank with 16+ passes etc.... o well.

Just FYI - you can sometimes find errors when using Prime95's Blend test that MemTest won't pickup.

I had similar instability as you with no consistency yet Memtest ran fine everytime. It turned out that my RAM was not stable at stock voltage/speed/timings. I underclocked the RAM to 1333MHz and its been fine since then. I would recommend trying that, an alternative might be to increase the voltage from 1.5V to 1.6V and running it at stock speeds. Hope that works for you!
