Hi,
when i rebooting my Windows 10 Pro For Workstation on my Laptop E732ZG Emachines, i get error BSOD Inaccessible Boot Device, i have a bootable pendrive with Windows PE, i am trying to fix Windows 10 offline from Windows PE, when i try to execute dism with the following command: dism /image:c:\ /ScratchDir:f:\scratch /cleanup-image /restorehealth /source:wim:d:\sources\install.wim:9 , i get the follow error message:
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.19041.1

Image Version: 10.0.19045.2251

Error: 0x800f0801

DISM failed. No operation was performed.
For more information, review the log file.

Il file di registro DISM si trova in X:\windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

I can display the partition of Windows 10 installed from Windows PE

Someone can help me!
Thanks
Pinuccio

DISM isn't going to resolve your issue. The problem is either going to be due to a corrupted BCD store entry or that your disk is failing. I would recommend that check the health of your drive(s) and the file system itself.

Thanks for the answer, i can display the partition from Windows PE, how can check the health of my drive(s) and file system?

The manufacturer of the disk should have own tools which you can use, however, if they don't, then we usually recommend a long generic test with SeaTools Bootable. You can use the standard chkdsk command for checking the files stem itself.
