Hello everyone I have an acer V3 571G

i7 3630QM
8Gb RAM
2GB GT 640M
Running windows 8
5 days old...

My laptop wheb booting goes into blue screen with error irql_not_less_or_equal and restarts and tries to restore but nothing. I dont know what to do, I havent got a windows 8 cd. This happend just after installing the driver for a wlan USB adapter. I really need help, the laptop is brand new!! I have tried the F8 and shift-F8 but it doesnt take me to any menu...

Kind Regards

Sort of solved, inserted windows 7 dvd started to install, it stopped working, manually restarted, and it allowed me to restore to windows 8 factory settings + personal data + apps but not installed programs.

If you would like help setting up the system with the correct drivers and software, please provide your msinfo32 file.

MSINFO32 upload:

  1. Click the lower left corner to open the Start Screen

  2. Type msinfo32 and press Enter

  3. When it opens, click File

  4. Click Save

  5. Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember

  6. Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info

  7. Right click the .nfo file

  8. Click Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder

  9. Upload the .zip file here.

Looks like all your acer drivers are installed, so nicely done!

I do see a concern:
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\TuneUp Utilities 2013

I hope that since you just started running Windows again that you have not yet used TuneUp Utilities. I do not recommend 3rd party optimization software, and I especially do not recommend any that use registry cleaning as part of that optimization. 3rd party optimization tends to cause more harm than good and eventually leads to the system being unable to boot properly, causes performance degradation, interferes with restore points, and it can damage Windows installation files as well as program files.
