Hello, I recently bought a new Corsair Vengeance 2x8gb DDR4 3000Mhz RAM (about a month ago), and a few days after I enabled the XMP profile and it worked very good. I also updated my BIOS like 2 days ago and had no problems.
However, today I was using my PC for gaming and turned it off as i went to lunch, but when I turned it back on later, i noticed there are audio crackling sounds and they are extremely annoying. I went online and find out to disable the XMP profile which I did and now the audio problems are gone. Another solution was to change the PCH Voltage from Auto to 1.1V, that also proved to remove the audio problems, but i dont know if its safe to have it at 1.1 since the default is 1V (but using this value causes audio crackle) so I put it back on auto)
Why did this happen suddently and how can I fix it permanently? Sorry for my english it is not my native language.
