Aug 24, 2019 #1 Hello, I currently have a mobile phone with the Microsoft authentication application, what I want to do is move the application with all the accounts I have there to another phone. Is this possible? It should be noted that both phones are android. Thank you very much in advance. Best regards.

Perhaps these two will be helpful (or not): -- How To Easily Switch Your Two-Factor Security To A New Phone -- New Phone? How to move MS MFA across... (Note: Requires Azure or O365)

Just as you can't transfer programs from one computer to another, you can't transfer apps from one android device to another. You should install the app on your new phone. Microsoft Authenticator - Apps on Google Play All I read say to first install the app on the new device. Unfortunately, the directions I'm finding are old and the app was just updated on 19 August. I'll keep looking. Adding the Microsoft Authenticator app to your new device won't automatically remove the app from your old device. Even deleting the app from your old device isn't enough. You must both delete the app from your old device and tell Microsoft or your organization to forget the old device and unregister it from your account. To remove the app from a device using a personal Microsoft account. Go to the two-step verification area of your Account Security page and choose to turn off verification for your old device. Go here How to move your two-factor authentication app to a new device - The Parallax and scroll down to the Microsoft heading. It looks like you have to manually add everything. Sep 16, 2019 #8 It is incredibly useful that option, thanks to the backup of accounts I was able to switch phones without problems and continue using my accounts. A detail, at least in Microsoft's accounts you have to identify yourself again from the app to have them active again in the application.
