Looking back over the thread, I just want to check that we've tried the simple solution first (I might have missed it though). Have you tried downloading standalone SP1? Download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) from Official Microsoft Download Centre [You will want windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe (32bit) or windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe (64bit) at the bottom of the selection list] Otherwise we might have to try another few resets to try to clear out some caches (I believe your corruption lies in a pre-staging cache rather than in any of the actual file stores which we would have detected by now - pre-staging cache corruptions are a bit of a pain because none of the normal tools or techniques work as effectively if at all) Richard
