Hi,

I have a problem with high dcp latency. dpclat.exe shows permanent high yellow bars and sometimes red spikes with audio dropouts. Audio software is running kind of slow after working a few minutes.
I followed the instruction in the "How to Diagnose and Fix High DPC Latency Issues" - thread, but I'm not able to find the problem when looking at the results.
Can anybody give me some help with this?

Here you can find the trace from xperf: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11256208/trace.zip

Thanks a lot!

My system:

intel core i5 3570-k
16GB Ram
Win 8.1 64 Bit
Mainboard Asus P8Z77-M

Btw.: I updated all drivers, including BIOS update and tried to disable Network adapters, firewire card, internal sound and graphic card,
but it made no difference. Any suggestions?

Hi -

What audio software are you running that slows up after a few minutes?

Do you have these audio issues when that particular software is not running?

I'll be glad to take a look through your system files to see if they yield any clues.

Please run - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...ctions-windows-8-1-8-7-and-windows-vista.html

Skip step #3. Attach the resulting zip file to your next post in this thread. Thanks.

Hi,

thanks a lot for your reply.

The software I'm using is Magix Sequoia 12.
I forgot to mention that I followed the suggestions for an optimised audio system from focusrite (Native Instruments makes
similar suggestions): Optimising your PC for audio on Windows 8 | Focusrite

Sometimes, when Sequoia get's slow, I get an error message like "unable to adress virtual memory. Please adjust settings an restart your system" (don't know the exact words). But this is not reproducible. The settings for virtual memory are left to default, so windows takes care of the whole virtual memory usage on all drives.

I have the audio issues mostly when watching videos. Audio suddenly hangs for about a second.

I don't know if it's really a latency problem. I just found an article that says these permanent yellow bars are typically for measuring with dpclat on windows 8: Taugt Windows 8 als DAW für die Musikproduktion? | nachbelichtet - fotografie, video, audio, recording (I'm sorry for the german language...)

As attachment you find the zipped files you were asking for.

Thanks a lot for your time and effort!

Hi satrow,

here come the pagefile settings.
You were right, it's on D: only. Allthough the option "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" is checked...
