Hello. The error I'm getting if I try to install from the Windows 10 USB key is: 0x8007001F-0x20006, The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC operation.
I've also been trying all the suggestions I can find online to get past the Windows 7 updates that are failing and preventing me from updating via Windows Update (my license is good for that). Errors: 80073712, 800B0100, 8024200D.
That includes stopping Windows Updates and clearing out all the folders associated with downloaded updates. I've run sfc /scannow and it says:
C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
I've attached that log file.
I've noticed you've asked others to download and run the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and search for KB2656373;KB2952664. I did that and have attached the results, which appear to be nothing.
I've also run this Reset-WindowsUpdate script:
Script Reset-WindowsUpdate.ps1
The SURT is another thing I've tried to run. It's ran for hours and appears to have completed now. Tried Windows Update again with the same errors.
I've also unplugged all non-essential hardware and ran the Windows Update Repair Tool.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
