After PeterJ helped me to cleanup my W7 I´m on W10.
Unfortunately my Canon WLAN printer is unsusable now.
The printer is connected via a Fritzbox with a static IP.
In the Fritzbox I can see the printer.
It is still available for other PCs with W7.

- I deinstalled my Anti Virus.
- I deactivated the firewall.
- I deinstalled the driver of the printer.

During reinstalling the driver tries to find the WLAN printer. No findings.
2nd attempt is to tell the driver the IP of the printer. No findings.

I connected the printer wia USB. Does work. But this is not the sense of a WLAN printer.

Any idea?

What's the model# of the printer?

Have you tried the add printer function in Win 10 after re-installing the printer driver? I not, do so. Click Start, type printer, you should see printer settings, add a printer, click add a printer.

Let it go through its motions and if it doesn't find it or refuses to install it properly, click my printer wasn't listed, choose add printer by tcp/ip, add the printers ip#, follow the prompts, etc.

All already sone. No success.
The printer works via USB in W10.
Abut the access via the WLAN via Network printer is not possible.
In W7 it works.

Is the Win 10 set to Public or Private networking? Make sure it's set to private.

Is network discovery turned on? Also, try turning on File and printer sharing under private networking.

Also is file and print sharing.png

It's on. Also file and print sharing is on.
All othe Computer can access the printer.
Only the W10 Pro installation not.

Which driver did you install? The specific or the universal? If you haven't tried the universal do so and report back.

I ran into issues when I upgraded from Windows Server 2008 to 2019 with the LAN Printers and the manual install with IP was my fix. Looks like it didn't help you.

I also saw here that the printer should not be connected until the very end of the driver install. PROBLEM WITH MF5750 DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 10

Finally.

I changed the system to a new motherboard.
First as test without any housing on my office desk. This worked.
Then I build it into my housing with all peripherials.
This board got a NWMS 9260 CNVI WIFI/BT card.
With this card the printer was found immediately.

Seems was a mismatch between tho WIE7265 WIFI/BT PCIe card and the Fritzbox.
Strange. Because surfing did work without any problems.

Solved.
