I'll start with my system info, to make it accesible:
OS: Windows 10 x64, Version 1803, Build 17134.81
-OEM, installed by Alternate.de, later reinstalled from the original DVD
-Age: 1-2 years
-OS was reinstalled on a new SSD after the first one had a critical hardware failure (smoke and a strong scent) in 2017
Current Hardware:
-CPU: Intel i7 6700k
-Video Card: 2x nVidia GeForce GTX 1080 in Sli (Gigabyte Xtreme Edition)
-MotherBoard: MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon
-PSU: Corsair CX750M (750 Watts)
-System Manufacturer: Alternate.de (in 2016), but (in 2017) I replaced everything except for the RAM, HDD and optical drive.
The Sysnative BSOD Dump + System File Collection App appears to encounter an issue: It gets stuck on "Waiting for SystemInfo", even though the System Info window has long disappeared after the progress bar was finished. Thusly, I do not have a Systive zip file.
However, due to their timecodes, these memory dumps could be related to some BSOD occurences: View attachment Minidump.zip
My BSOD is called KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and occurs around 1-2 hours after booting. Sometimes it will occur a little bit earlier, sometimes a bit later. It does not come with the name of a driver causing the issue.
Additionally, my system has started to randomly lag more rarely and sometimes very frequently for the same period that I have had the BSOD occur. These are the things that I did regarding this:
-Before the issue ever occured, I uninstalled the intel Extreme Tuning Utility to update it, but forgot to disable its current settings. This lead to a weird situation where after a reboot, the program would still show up under windows, but couldn't be executed.
-manually removed remains of the program from the filesystem and registry and tried to reinstall, but that failed.
-used REVO Uninstaller to remove remains of the program and tried to reinstall, this worked. I then started to get the BSOD.
-disabled Fast Boot
-ran an sfc scan
-checked for driver updates using Driver Booster and DriverEasy, updated the Intel Management Engine, an audio driver for the motherboard's soundchip (which I don't use), a driver for my secondary monitor and a Samsung printer driver.
-manually installed a driver for my primary monitor.
-ran Malwarebytes.
-uninstalled the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, reinstalled it, set everything to default, uninstalled it again and removed its remains with REVO Uninstaller. After each of these steps I waited for athe BSOD to occur, and it did.
-Flashed the BIOS with the newest version, it then stopped going into a setup menu (Enter Setup, Use Default Values or Use last known good configuration) after the BSOD for a while, but now it is doing that again.
-Installed RegistryCleaner, which 'repaired' 170 things in the registry
-ran the startup repair from windows recovery options, which surprisingly revealed a damaged bootres.dll, but couldn't fix it. Here's the log (in German, though, sorry): View attachment SrtTrail.txt
-ran SFCFix, which didn't find anything.
-ran Malwarebytes again.
-Uninstalled Kryptex, a cryptocurrency mining software that had been flagged by virus scans before, but seemed trustworthy nonetheless
-ran Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner and erased all findings.
-Ran Verifier.exe, which did not cause a VERIFIER_ENABLED BSOD, but did cause the KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED BSOD to occur within a minute after boot, instead of 1-2 hours. No memory dump was created.
That's pretty much it, to the best extend that I could recreate fro memory. Additionally to this, I used CCleaner and Windows' built-in disk-cleanup as well as defragmentation/optimization tools several times during all of this.
I'd be happy to provide any further info, logs, etc. that might in any way be useful to investigate this issue. I'd be even more happy and thankful for anyone who has any ideas regarding this BSOD and lag issue.
I myself couldn't figure out any other alternative then resetting my PC, which is a step that I'd rather avoid.
