Habit, Habit and Habit, used it for the tabs before IE had them, have used Opera in the past too, not sure when but several years back Opera updated and had issues so I switched to FF.

I'm a long-time Firefox user too, starting with Phoenix because it was faster than IE with my dial-up connection on Windows 95. I am still using it because of the extensions I use regularly that aren't available with IE.

Firefox variant (Aurora, Pale moon, etc). Addons, several that I consider key to my ability to post. Skins, so I dont go snow blind. The list goes on.

Re: Which Browser Is Most Popular at Sysnative?

I have quite a few browsers for checking crossbrowser compatibility with web work...

I use primarily chrome for browsing... just find it the cleanest and quickest to use...

If I am actually doing something I use a FF variant called Cometbird... Plugins/macros make life much easier when I need it to be.

Re: Which Browser Is Most Popular at Sysnative?

I used to be a Firefox user, and loved it - apart from the huge number of crashes one of the previous versions had, which forced me away. I was looking for something else, and John suggested that I use IE9! So I gave it a try, and have stuck with it ever since. I actually prefer Firefox, and I don't really like IE at all, but some spell has locked me here, and for some reason I have never changed back! I must be about 8 versions out of date by now! lol.

Re: Which Browser Is Most Popular at Sysnative?

    Firefox :)

I went from IE to Firefox. I remember when Firefox was just Mozilla and the little raptor was the icon.. oh man! I'm so locked to Firefox because NoScript on Firefox really is just wonderful. There's a variation of NoScript on Chrome, but I tried it and wasn't too crazy. This was a few years back, so I may try again someday.

Pale Moon, usually the x64 variety, SRWare Iron as secondary, on low-spec. machines, K-Meleon.

I beta test Pale Moon so I usually have several flavours of Firefox -based browsers installed to compare and cross-check potential issues. Some months I clean out 30+ 'old' browsers.

I've used Firebird/Phoenix/Camino (Mac)/Firefox etc. since they were all in early beta, with a couple of spells using Opera interspersed between them.

I find IE8 and IE9 more business-use friendly because I use it for Remote Web Access (RWA) and Outlook Web App (OWA) for internal and external use and both works very well without any Security Warning popping up. I have added these 2 sites in Ďallowed trusted sitesí and Iím still getting the security pop-up, no biggie as long as IE works well. I use Chrome and FF as well for personal use but vote is for IE9.

Re: Which Browser Is Most Popular at Sysnative?

I use Chrome for both Windows and Linux platforms. Occasionally Chromium for Linux.

I also use IE regularly. Used to use Netscape, but went back to IE because Netscape became bloated. Then I went to FF for a while during IE 6/7. Then, back to IE for IE 8 and haven't used FF since. Now I use IE9 and Chrome about equally.

I really don't like all of the Netscape clones and Apple's Safari has always bothered me. I didn't mind Konqueror when I was using Linux / KDE.

I prefer Chrome due to it's streamlined simplicity. Simple, fast and quite a pleasure to use.

IE9 - Mainly due to I like how simple it is and it stays out of the way. Firefox it cool with the themes but IE feels like the best to me.

Plus I always say that the internet is made for IE.

I quit using Chrome because it took a lot of resources and made my pc slow. Now I'm using Firefox, and I'm happy I switched to it.

Re: Which Browser Is Most Popular at Sysnative?

I had no idea there were 'flavours' of Firefox!

But I've used Chrome since its inception, I originally used it because the most visited websites feature was literally the best feature in a browser I've ever used, then I realised it's the fastest (both on start and browsing) and cleanest (read: least amount of UI) out of them all. Later the security seemed to be the best, I cannot describe how useful and good the Google Safe Browsing Diagnostic Page has been to me. Finally, the themes have been the best (though I'm disgruntled right now as one specific character I want doesn't have any good ones).
