Once again... From work... It shows much higher speeds, then at the very end of the test has a steep drop off and it shows the low number....

Verizon Wireless (just rolled over to new billing month) ... should have seen what it looked like two days ago when we were close to our limit for the month...was like dialup. Oh, and by the way, It only hit that high point the last quarter of the file download. FYI.

And this one that I just posted is slower than 86% of the USA.

    Re: Speedtest

    Thanks!

I was paying close to $150 a month with Optimum, and I was barely getting 11 down and 2 up. I switched to FiOS today. I originally was going to get the 50/25 package with 210+ channels for $79.99, but apparently my Grandmother (the Verizon account holder) worked for Verizon and maintained a status valuable enough for me to get a free upgrade for the speeds I have now, but pay the same price.

Very happy overall with the customer service Verizon has given me today. I think I got more customer assistance today alone than I ever did with Cablevision
