File sharing failure on an otherwise healthy network

    Hi.
    I'm at my wits end.
My network infrastructure is okay, and almost all network services running on my computer are accessible to computers beyond. (Remote Desktop, Apache, etc.) Internet connection is fine too. I am using it to write this post! But no one from outside can access my network shares over SMB. Worse, I cannot access my shares from within my own computer. I tried navigating to the following in File Explorer:
    • \\COMPUTER-NAME: List of shares appear. But I cannot open any of them. Error 0x80070035. (Well, really, my computer isn't called "COMPUTER-NAME", but I am sure you understand why I am not writing its real name.)
    • \\192.168.1.70: Does not connect at all.
    • \\localhost: Does not connect at all.
    • \\127.0.0.1: Does not connect at all.

Things that I have tried so far:
    • Uninstalled COMODO Internet Security
    • Disabled and re-enabled SMB
    • Restarted the computer as well as the "lanmanworkstation" and "lanmanserver" a thousands of times in many different occasions.
    • Released and renewed my DHCP-assigned IP address
    • Tried Windows 10's Network Reset feature
    • Uninstalled every single adapter using Device Manager and let Windows reinstall them. The first time I did this, the problem went away! But then, the problem returned and repeating this step didn't help anymore.
    • Tried "netsh int ipv4 reset c:\reset.log" suggestion from a Microsoft support person. It has no effect and "c:\reset.log" is not created. And anyway, I don't think this is the problem.
    • Set the adapter to force enable NetBT

My computer is running Windows 10, version 1803 build 345.

Oh, yes. Actually, I said as much in my original post.

    Hi, is SFC clean?

Oh, yeah. Done that too. Also did a Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth. Didn't help. I ended up using Windows Setup to fix the problem.
