Nagging event id 1014, dns client, Name resolution for the name xxx.com timed out

For past several days i am getting this error, when my internet connection is lost and regain. I tried all the fixes , but still , i am getting this error.
Moreover, when i open device manager, and clicked show hidden devices, the network adapter shows more devices than the one i actually use as NIC.
Is there any permanent fix for this? sfc scan does not list any integrity issue.

Hi, Expecting solultions from moderators or experts.
When i tested the same with other laptop having xp OS, there was no internet loss on logon or log off. I think this error is the reason for the internet loss.

    other laptop having xp OS
You failed to tell us what version of Windows is running on the problem computer.

    ipm.provider.ff.avast.com
I found a very old thread that deals with this issue
    Avast Requesting Top 1000 Domains?

What Avast product is running on the problem computer? Before I spend time searching, I'll need to know exactly what is installed on the problem computer.

    Hi, Plodr
The problematic pc is having windows 7 ultimate. The name resolution site differs on each log on. Yesterday and today logs are enclosed for readly reference. But , why should the internet disconnects on every shutdown and log on. It is different name resolution on each log on as may be seen from the enclosure. I checked the error log in the modem, There was no error.
But due to this error, if i enable notice on the modem, it is listing port a0 link down. PPP terminated, port a link up. ppp link up Public Dn ip.......and so on.
I have tried all the steps in this msoft fix
Event ID 1014: Microsoft Windows DNS Client - TechNet Articles - United States (English) - TechNet Wiki
    But the problem persists.
I normally had no problem with my auto dhcp settings. Some suggest, using public dns.
If i use google dns, i have a weird problem of some foreign server accessing my router , or internet, at times. No reply came from google dns from their web posts.
So, i switched back to my ISP, as i could ask any query with my known ISP official.
I am using avast free for both my pc and laptop.

Now, i uninstalled avast for checking and then rebooted. I get this error with the same event id 1014
Name resolution for the name _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.domain.name timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

Uninstalling Avast might not be enough. Security programs leave so much behind in the registry that might cause problems.
Most Security vendors also offer an uninstall/cleanup tool. Look for it and run it.

Hi, Plodr, Ok, i will try uninstall with revo uninstall and try. But, could you give a possible reason for my problem. Is it always the case, that if i use wifi signals on other devices, and try to log on to the pc, the dhcp will be reallocating internal ips to the devices once again, so i get the internet loss? Mostly i get the alert with _ldap like this.
Name resolution for the name _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.domain.name timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
    Which is giving this error.
Moreover on show all hidden devices in the device manager, list some more adapters , can i safely delete those. I am using of course wifi devices with pc and laptop.
    please

No, not Revo. You need to use a specific uninstall tool from Avast. Since you failed to post exactly what Avast program you were using, I was unable to point you to the tool.

could you give a possible reason for my problem.
Avast is requesting the DNS records for the Top 1000 Domains.
It does this request every 24 hours and 10 minutes ...This occurs regardless of if Secure DNS is enabled, disabled or even not installed.[/quote]

list some more adapters , can i safely delete those.
If it were my computer, I wouldn't. They aren't causing the problem so let them alone.

Ok, i am using avast free antivirus. Could you say some non intrusive free antivirus.
I went to realtek site for drivers update , if any is available.
I found that it has. I updated the same, but still this error persists.
I use avast , as it has network scan and router scan.
i tried by changing to third level dns servers, still the problem continues.
But why only on logons at the staring windows screen, the light disconnects, i mean, the dsl disconnects and then reconnects and the error id 1014 occurs ultimately

On our four Windows 7 computers, I use Microsoft Security Essentials. If I ran Windows 8.1 or 10, I would use Microsoft's built in av, Windows Defender. (Windows Defender = Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows 7).

But why only on logons at the staring windows screen, the light disconnects, i mean, the dsl disconnects and then reconnects and the error id 1014 occurs ultimately
No idea and I can't troubleshoot because a) I don't use dsl and b) each computer has 1 user who is automatically logged in so we never see a login screen on Windows 7.
