Acer Aspire Laptop

I've tried without the battery and also without the AC adapter separately. Both to no avail. She had only given it to me to fix if I could. All she wants is the data so I will just mount the HDD to my computer and take the data out.

The whole notebook itself shuts off. After it shuts off, all the lights, including the screen will flick on and off a couple times. I did shine a flashlight on it and couldn't see anything during the couple seconds that it is actually on. Don't think it even had time to get to the boot screen.

Would I be able to see it even though it turns off completely? Because that's what it does. Completely shuts off after a few seconds then the lights flash.

SFC reports unable to fix files

Looks to be no reason to post up a CBS log. It found no integrity violations =D. If you still need the log, let me know and I will post it.

SFC reports unable to fix files

Thank you, Noel. Currently running the SFC scan. Would these files missing cause any malfunction? What are their purpose? I only ask because I have had my computer completely lock up a few times recently. Also have had the mouse mess up to where it would look multi-colored and very low res'd...
