[SOLVED] Windows 7, SFC unable to fix corrupt files. Windows features on or off box blank!

Hi Peter, after thoroughly researching my issues with windows search, and additional problems running ANY troubleshooters I finally decided to do a repair install of my Windows 7 which has sorted all my issues. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into helping me, It's really appreciated.

Since I ran your your reg file download WSearch is now available in services.msc but not running, with the description: <Failed to Read Description. Error Code: 15100 > If I try to start the service I get the message: Windows could not start the WSearch service on Local Computer. Error 1053...

Thanks for the link but unfortunately the download fails to run almost immediately with the message: An error occurred while loading the troubleshooter An unexpected error occurred has occurred. The troubleshooting wizard can't continue. Package ID: Unknown Path...
