[SOLVED] Cannot update - windows 7

Thank you, this has seems to have fixed both windows update and my troubleshooter. Thank you for your help, I'm assuming I had a corrupted file somehow?

So I attempted to update using windows update, but only 28 updates succeeded while 103 failed, and I got 3 error codes : 8000FFFF, 80070005, 80070490. I restarted and attempted to update again in which only 5 updates succeeded and the same errors. I ran "sfc /scannow" command and attempting to...

So I have several issues, I have no idea if any of them are linked with each other and I have tried to fix them little success. Any time I download a windows update it says update was not installed. I followed a guide by Microsoft and ran the command sfc /scannow, which didn't do much. I then...
