[SOLVED] Recommendations for an external mic for Windows laptop

We tend to use these Jabra Speak speakerphones in our smaller conference rooms, they work well and are automatically detected by windows so no drivers or software to deal with Jabra Speak2 55

How to solve Components Scanner reporting thousands of missing registry keys

Hi, There will be a log file at %localappdata%\Sysnative\ComponentsScanner.log which will contain the same log messages printed to the console.

What is the proper way to do a userprofile reset in Windows 11/in 2023

Been a while since I've done this, but always had good luck with delprof2 in the past on Windows 8/10, and I'd assume it would work OK on 11 Delprof2: User Profile Deletion Tool • Helge Klein

Ahh right. There's a USB B/C port (depending on config) that connects to each computer in addition to the display port connections. This cable will also handle passthrough for other usb devices

Not sure what you mean by keyboard output? The l1tech kvm has ports marked HID which are for keyboard/mouse. So connect to those, then they'll be made available to whichever computer is selected as the input.

Honestly if you can afford it,I'd just go with this: 1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Dual Monitor - Two Computer — Level 1 Techs. They do make other styles/configurations with different numbers of displays, ports etc. Wendell has spent years hunting for a good kvm and ended up designing his own...

Windows 11 - Slow Startup, wake from sleep fails

Honestly the long boot delay sounds like a BIOS issue. Are any bios updates available? Is this an AM5 motherboard? I've heard AM5 motherboards, especially with a fair amount of RAM, can take a very long time to boot due to memory training
